Ingredients for donuts:
- Flour
- Ground nutmeg
- Sugar
- Baking powder
- Kosher salt
- Whole milk
- Egg
- Vanilla extract
- Canola oil
- Piping bag
Directions:
Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees and spray a donut pan with baking spray.
Using a small bowl, whisk the flour, ground nutmeg, sugar, baking powder and salt
In a large bowl, whisk the milk, egg, vanilla and oil until combined.
You’ll whisk in the dry ingredients until combined and smooth.
Scoop the batter into the piping bag and fill the donut cavity 3⁄4 way full.
These don’t take very long to make!
They will bake in the oven for 12 minutes.
Instantly remove from the oven and turn the pan over onto a wire rack and allow to cool.
Once donuts are cooled, pipe dollops of frosting all over the top half of the donut.
You’ll place two eyes in the top middle of the donut.
Cut a chocolate chip cookie in half and place the half cookie in the bottom corner of the donut where it looks like the cookie is in the Cookie Monster’s mouth.
Just allow the frosting to harden for 30 minutes before enjoying it!

- ¾ C light brown sugar packed
- ¼ C sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 C flour
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 C semi sweet chocolate chips
- Vanilla Frosting
- 1 C unsalted sweet cream butter softened
- 3 C powdered sugar
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 5 tbsp heavy whipping cream
- 4 drops sky blue gel food coloring
- 1 large piping bag with large star tip
- 1 package of edible eyes
- Vanilla nutmeg donuts
- 1 C flour
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- ¼ C sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- 5 tbsp whole milk
- 1 large egg
- ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp canola oil
- 1 large piping bag

- Using a standing mixer, beat the butter, brown sugar, sugar, egg and vanilla until combined and
