- 1 14- oz tin Diced Tomatoes
- 3 cloves Garlic minced
- 1/3 cup Minced Onions
- ½ tsp Red Pepper Flakes
- 2 tbsp Chopped Basil
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 200 grams Cooked Penne Rigatte
- ¼ cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Heat olive oil in a pan.
Add onions, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Sautee until aromatic.
Add diced tomatoes and about ¼ cup of water. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Toss in pasta and fresh basil. Season with salt and pepper as needed.
Top with shredded parmesan to serve.
