Ingredients
  

  • For the Cake
  • 1.5 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • ½ cup Cocoa Powder
  • ½ cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 3 Eggs
  • ¾ cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • For the Ganache
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Instructions
 

  • Whisk together flour and baking powder in a bowl. Set aside.
  • Melt butter, sugar, and cocoa powder over a double boiler.
  • Take off the heat and stir in chocolate chips until smooth.
  • Stir in the dry mixture.
  • Blend in the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour batter into a lightly-oiled cake pan.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes at 350F.
  • Take cake out of the oven and leave to cool for about 10 minutes before unmolding.
  • Meanwhile, put heavy cream in a small sauce pot and bring to a boil.
  • Take off the heat then stir in chocolate chips.
  • Allow ganache to cool for about 10 minutes before pouring onto cake.
