Place the pineapple cubes, sugar, vodka, blue curaçao, and ice in the blender.

Place lid on blender, and blend the mixture for at least five minutes at maximum speed. Otherwise, you must strain it. Although if the fiber of the pineapple bothers you a little, it is better to strain it.

Pour the contents of the blender into a pitcher. Then just before serving, add the soda and ginger ale.

Stir well, and serve with some additional ice.
