Easy Beef Pot Pie

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ lb. Ground beef
  • 1 C. Frozen peas and carrot
  • ½ Onion chopped
  • 2 tsp. Minced garlic
  • ½ Can Condensed beef consommé soup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Can Pillsbury crescent rolls

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Saute the ground beef and onion over medium high heat in a skillet until the beef is browned and the onion is softened. Drain any excess fat.
  • Reduce the heat to medium and stir in the onions, garlic and peas and carrots. Saute another minute.
  • Pour in the soup as well as salt and pepper to taste.
  • Layer the beef mixture in a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough, and pinch the seams closed.
  • Spread the dough over the top of the meat mixture.
  • Bake for 25 minutes. You can sprinkle someItalian seasoning on top if desired.
  • Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
