Combine all ingredients for the dough in bowl.

Leave to rest for 15 minutes.
Combine all ingredients for the filling in a pan.
Simmer for 10 minutes or until apples are tender.
Divide the dough into 2 equal portions.
Take each portion
and roll to about 1/8” thick.
Spread the apple mixture onto one sheet of dough then top with the other sheet.
Cut into strips using a pizza cutter.
Take each strip and twist from one end to another.
Arrange twists on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 10-15 minutes at 350F.
Serve with a side of caramel syrup.
