Easy Apple Pie Twists

Ingredients
  

For the Dough:

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • Β½ tsp Salt
  • ΒΌ cup Sugar
  • 3/4 cup Warm Milk
  • ΒΌ cup Soft Butter

For the Filling:

  • 2 cups Diced Apples
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • ΒΌ tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • Β½ cup Water

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients for the dough in bowl. Mix until evenly blended. Leave to rest for 15 minutes.
  • Combine all ingredients for the filling in a pan. Simmer for 10 minutes or until apples are tender.
  • Divide the dough into 2 equal portions. Take each portion and roll to about 1/8” thick.
  • Spread the apple mixture onto one sheet of dough then top with the other sheet.
  • Cut into strips using a pizza cutter.
  • Take each strip and twist from one end to another.
  • Arrange twists on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes at 350F.
  • Serve with a side of caramel syrup.
