Ingredients

  • 3 cups of grated dark chocolate 300 g. (you can also use chocolate drops)
  • ΒΌ cup of peanut butter 75 g.
  • ΒΌ cup of powdered sugar 30 g.
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 4 graham crackers ground, 30 g.

Instructions

  • To make the peanut butter cups, you must first prepare the peanut butter filling. Then, in a medium mixing bowl, place the cracker ground and peanut butter. Mix with a spoon as much as possible until the mixture is very dry.
  • Melt the butter for about five seconds in the microwave and add it to the peanut butter and cracker ground mixture. Stir until you get a smooth and homogeneous cream.
  • Place a pastry bag inside a glass cup, open the edges of the pastry bag and stretch them over the edges of the glass, until the pastry bag is completely open. This will allow you to fill the piping bag with ease. Scoop the peanut butter into the pastry bag.
  • Spread the peanut butter into the bottom of the pastry bag.
  • Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. Put the grated chocolate in a refractory glass bowl. Place a pot with three fingers of water in the kitchen over medium-low heat. When the water is bubbling, very carefully place the bowl with the chocolate in the hot water. Make sure the water level is well below. Stir every two to three minutes until all the chocolate is melted.
  • Pour the melted chocolate into a sauce dispenser or another pastry bag. Immediately, arrange all the muffins paper cups liners on a table, or better yet, in a cupcake mold. And inside each muffin's paper cups liners place a little chocolate, to make the base of Reese's peanut butter cup. Put the muffins paper cups in the fridge for about five minutes until the chocolate hardens.
  • Then with the pastry bag, place a layer of peanut butter filling on top of the chocolate layer. Make sure you stay away from the edges so that the peanut butter filling is fully encapsulated within the chocolate.
  • Finally, place the second layer of chocolate and fill the edges well. Put the chocolates in the fridge for about twenty minutes until they are very hard. Then unmold and you're done.
