Beat an egg into a bowl, add salt, pepper and 1 tbsp olive oil, mix.
In another bowl, add all-purpose flour, baking soda, and starch, mix.
Heat frying oil in a skillet, pour in about 1 to 1 1/2 inches. Dip chicken strips in beaten egg.
Roll the strips of chicken fillet in a mixture of flour and starch.
Transfer chicken strips to hot oil (up to about 350F). Fry, flipping, 6-7 minutes or until golden or light brown.
In a separate pan, fry the strips of pepper and green beans in olive oil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
In a saucepan, mix the ingredients for the sauce. Heat up while stirring with a spatula.
Remove the finished chicken strips from the oil with a slotted spoon and transfer to napkins to absorb excess oil.
Boil the sauce to the desired density. It should not contain lumps of starch. If there are lumps, gently stir the sauce with a whisk.
Put the fried chicken, strips of vegetables into a saucepan, mix everything so that each piece is covered with sauce, and warm everything together for 2-3 minutes.
Serve honey chicken sprinkled with sesame seeds. You can also add chopped green onions.
