Best way to stop that from happening is cover the chocolate chips in flour first. Then fold them in. See if that helps

Seriously the best mug cake out there, it’s super moist without being too goopy or wet. It isn’t too sweet but it’s definitely a super yummy treat! I like to use self-rising flour as opposed to all-purpose, just because it makes a bit more of cake! I never ever write reviews but seriously, 11/10, have to try!!

The best chocolate chip mug cake ever. I’ve made it two days in a row and had consistent results. The batter is runnier than what I expected but the result is excellent. Unlike others, I’ve had no issues with sinking chocolate chips. I’m finding one minute in my microwave is perfect.

I made a half recipe and it was tiny, so I’ll definitely do the full thing next time. I microwaved it 40 seconds and it was perfect. So soft and fluffy and sweet! Probably could do with half the sugar in the full recipe, so I’ll experiment with that as well.
