This is UNBELIEVABLE. Tastes like a molten lava cake. as soon as I ate it, I shared the recipe with all my chocolate loving friends.
Myriam says
Very good! I added a big spoon of hazelnut spread in the middle of the batter before I cooked it… so good!! Better than many chocolat cake in restaurants…
I suggest to put less sugar, next time I’ll try with half the amount because it could still have been less sweet.
Remember, the better the chocolate, the better the cake 🍫❤️

Not bad at all, only a bit rich for me.

This was so delicious, I will be making it again and again!! I thought at first that the egg was missing, but it didn’t need it at all. Thanks for the recipe!! Yummmmmm
Courtney says
I’m no expert but if you put one or two eggs in an entire cake then putting an egg in a tiny mug cake would be waaaay disproportionate.
Nad says
Umm I think that the recipie didn’t call for any egg?
katelyn says
it doesn’t need one for this recipe:) and turned out fine

This tastes just like lava cake in a nice restaurant. Super easy, super quick and super delicious.

Yum! My daughter and I each made ourselves one. This was great! The only thing missing was vanilla ice cream. I have not dared make”in a mug” deserts before, unsure how they’d turn out and not want to waste the ingredients. This is wonderful tasting and so easy for her to make alone at her dad’s house. Thank you!!

The first few times I made this, I used regular cocoa powder. Then I decided to try Dutch processed cocoa powder, since it’s supposed to react better with baking powder, and OMG, it was absolutely amazing! I add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and I’m in heaven. Try it with Dutch processed cocoa powder! You won’t regret it!

Yummy!!!! Probably the best mug cake recipe I’ve tried so far! 👍👌
Folo says
The best mug cake texture wise!
It is way to sweet, but a nice scoop of vanilla icecream makes up for it 🙂

Pregnancy craving satisfied!
I didn’t want to dirty another dish to heat up the butter so I used oil instead. Cooked it in the same bowl I mixed it in and added some walnuts. Turned out great. One of the best recipes I’ve tried so far.

Delicious and easy to make, made this a few times. Perfect for that sweet tooth when you don’t want to make a whole cake, especially when you trying to eat healthy 😂My 11 year old also loves it with vanilla ice cream and we use dark chocolate chips.
Sarah says
This stuff is the bomb dot com i dont have any dark chocolate so ive been using hersheys syrup instead (only form of chocolate i have at all) and it’s been splendid. I also used dark brown sugar instead of white today which was also splendid

This mug cake was sooo good. I was craving chocolate cake today and wanted something fast, this was amazing. It’s soft and fluffy, but also so good from the added chocolate.
I added white chocolate instead of milk/dark chocolate. And I like my cake a bit drier so I cooked mine 2 min 25 seconds. Turned out great.

Absolutely delicious 😋 please tell me, do you have a recipe to bake a full size cake like this ?.

It was amazing.
100% recommend.
It was quick, easy, not messy.
And fastttt.
Made for I and my sister.
And she isn’t really a fan of fudge but she loved it.
But what do you think I could do to make it a little more solid.
But I loved it.
Thank you so much.
